These instructions are for students within the University of Tennessee system who do not attend the Knoxville campus.
Step 1 - Download and fill out Cover Sheet
This form is required for any online order. If this a pre-order for a Tax Free day, please make a note of it on the 2nd page of the Coversheet packet.
Step 2 - Download and fill out Agreement Forms
Which forms you need to fill out depends entirely upon what you are purchasing with your order. For instance, if you are buying a Laptop with no additional software, you only need the Cover Sheet and the Hardware & Software Agreement Form. If you are getting just a piece of Microsoft software, then all you need is the Cover Sheet and the Microsoft Agreement Form. For software by anybody other than Microsoft or Adobe, you need to fill out the Hardware & Software Agreement Form.
Step 3 - ID photocopy
In order to complete your order we will need a photocopy of some legitimate ID with your picture on it. A Student ID, Driver's License or Passport preferred but we will accept other forms of identification as well.
Step 4 - Attain Enrollment Verification
You can obtain enrollment verification in a variety of ways depending on which campus you attend classes. We need proof that you are a currently enrolled, fee-paying student on a UT campus. You can send us a copy of your fee paid receipt for the current semester AND a copy of your current class schedule. Please be sure that it is obvious that your fee receipt AND schedule are tied together. Your best option is to get some sort of verification on official letterhead.
For Example:
- UT Chattanooga - Enrollment verification can be obtained with an official UT stamp on it from the Records Office in room 128 of Hooper Hall. You can also get an enrollment verification online through your OneNet account. After logging in to OneNet, Enrollment Verification Services is listed on the left side of the screen.
- UT Memphis - Enrollment verification can be obtained with an official UT stamp on it from the Enrollment Services Office in Suite 119 of Randolph Building.
- UT Knoxville - Distance Ed - Print out your current schedule and fee paid statement from Circle Park Online using your PIN.
Alternative Method of Verification
A fast and convenient way of verifying your enrollment is to use the National Student Clearinghouse. Most of the schools in Tennessee have supplied the necessary data to this clearinghouse. This method does require that you pay a fee, usually $2.50 per verification. Once you enter your information they will provide you with a document. Send us that document along with a photo ID.
Step 5 - Payment Information
- You may choose to put your credit card on the first sheet if you are comfortable with that. The fax will come to a secure office location. Otherwise, leave a note to have someone call to obtain your credit card number. We accept VISA and Mastercard only.
- If you choose to pay with a Check, make it payable to "UT Bookstore". If you choose this method you must Mail in your forms along with the check. We do not accept checks from a commercial or business account, you may also pay with a money order
Step 6 - Return Information
There are three ways in which you can send the information too us:
- Fax all of the forms to 865-974-3668. You may write your credit card number on the form with your mailing address and other information on it. Alternately, you may leave a number for us to call you back to get the credit card number.
- Email a scanned copy of the forms with your signature on it. Be sure to leave a number so that we can call you back to obtain your credit card number.
- Mail your order to us. To place your order, please send all required forms, a photocopy of your ID, and your enrollment verification to the following address:

- Be sure to include all of the documents and agreement forms necessary for the items you are purchasing
- If you are ordering a custom configuration computer, please add the configuration printout with the packet.
