| 4. Right Click on "Wireless
Network Connection" and then
left click on "Properties" |

| 5. Click on the "Wireless Networks" tab |
 |
| 6. Click on "Add..." as shown to the right |
 |
| 7. In the "Network Name (SSID):" box, type "nomad" (no
quotes, all lowercase) |
 |
| 8. In the "Date encryption" drop down menu, change WEP to "none". |
|
| 9. Click OK |
|
| 10. Restart the computer |
|
| 11. Open up a web browser: |
|
- Go to netreg.utk.edu
- Click on "Register Your Computer"
- Follow the onscreen instructions

| 4. Click on the "Network Icon" |
 |
| 5. Under "Show," select "Airport" |

| 6. Under "By Default, Join:", select "A
Specific Network" |

| 7. Under "Network Name" type "nomad" (lowercase, no quotes) |
 |
| 8. Click "Apply Now" |

| 9. Open up a web browser: |

- Go to netreg.utk.edu
- Click "Register Your Computer"
- Follow the onscreen instructions
